Round 2 - Cassiobury Park, Watford – November 12th, 2011.

Another dry and unseasonably warm day welcomed us at Watford with an early start for the young guns in the under 11s boys race who being first to arrive were also unfortunate enough to land tent duty.  Well done Robert & Jacob, a good improvement on last outing too.

In the ladies race, the quartet of Jane, Alison, Hayley and Sarah racked up points for the team and following them was a great turnout of 14 men runners making up for the lacklustre start to the season.  Neil Richard was laid up on the first lap by a hamsting injury and is now hoping to break all records by making it a full house of DNFs for the season.

Andy Maskel, Walid and Dominic were first timers at this event, taking the total number of TR cross country newbies to 8 for the season.  Their efforts helped launch Thame Runners up 3 places in Division 2 and we now reside in 8th spot.  Where would we be without the new recruits, eh?  Big thanks for the making the effort this weekend everyone.
